I guess this is a parrallax problem caused by the technique used you would have to move your camera-lense on it's nodal point! I don not know the word in english but in french it is (''pupille d'entrée) You have to find this exact point and move your camera on this axis! Unless your equipement allow...

Sorry for the long delay, I did not see your reply! :oops: I do not grow cactus but as Montreal botanical garden has a permanent exhibition of mexicain theme including cactus , each time I go for a visit, I take some shots of cactus flowers! But they are not as well rendered as this one for details ...

I rarely have to post process noise on my winter landscape photographs and summer is very hot and damp in Quebec..and my summer shots are usually noisy!
