Re: Possible stand-alone license for HR for PCs
Okay, Stas, got it and it's working -- just had to leave out last blank character.

Re: New feature : Zero noise photography
I believe there is a discussion relevant to this in David Busch's Nikon D7000 Guide to Digital DSLR Photography . Initially, it wasn't clear (to me) what he was talking about since he subsequently talks about bracketing for HDR. And, just to make life interesting, he subsequently talks about doing M...

Re: helion remote android and motorolla bionic cell phone
Just a bit of follow-up research on this subject. A quick check of the Android phones on GSMarena.com yields about 37 phones that claim they're USB-host-compatible. Still, as others (and I believe you also) have pointed out, that doesn't always mean anything since, technically, USB host has been int...

Possible stand-alone license for HR for PCs
Any chance of seeing Helicon Remote available as a stand-alone product for a PC/laptop? I've gotten the license for my Android phone, but currently the only way to get a license for my Win7 laptop is to get the Helicon Focus package and I'm not interested particularly in that package. I do however, ...

Re: helion remote android and motorolla bionic cell phone
Stas, I'm in a bit of a quandary here. Just what does one look for in the standard specs for Android smartphones to determine if they support USB host? For example, GSMArena (http://www.gsmarena.com/) probably has the most detailed set of specs that's available for various phones, but USB host isn't...

Re: Wi-Fi and BlueTooth support
I would be very interested in this when it becomes available. A friend just pointed out to me that I'm not going to get the standoff between laptop (or Android) and camera that I was hoping for using USB cable. I would offer to participate in the beta program for this, but I've no idea what hardware...

Re: H. remote free is slow, is it faster with full version?
I think it should be possible to simply leave the images on the camera card. Check out [Menu Button] [Settings] [Image Saving] scroll down to [Download RAW ...], [Download JPEG ...], and [Download movies ...]; Select "leave in camera". I think that should do it, but I don't know how much d...

Re: Wi-Fi and BlueTooth support
Not to be picky, but it's the WT-4a for the D7000.
Still, given the inflated price on that, I think I'll have to wait for a third-party solution at a fraction of the price.
Still, thanks for the information; it encourages me to keep looking for alternative hardware!

Wi-Fi and BlueTooth support
Running Win7 on laptop and Android on Samsung Galaxy SIII and using Nikon D7000. Any prospect of seeing Helicon Remote available on these platforms (and for this camera) using either BlueTooth or Wi-Fi? Basically, I'm asking about the prospect of wireless support for Helicon Remote. And, yes -- I kn...
