Many thanks for offering to look at these files, but I think I have solved the problem. We were saving files in ImagePro Plus as 36 bit color (12 bits per channel). Helicon will open files at 8 bits per channel, or 16 bits per channel, but not 12. Photoshop opens the 12 bits per channel files ...
