Re: Saving stack map or stack data

Re: 5DSR problem
My question was oriented more to the how small is the smallest step, because I'm doing a ring, and each step is bigger than the actual usable in focus area. Probably a job for the Stackshot more than to the remote.
Will try the EOS utility and will let you know.

Re: 5DSR problem
Nope... new camera just out of the box, all by default. Will try with another lens to see if is the specific lens.
I guess the minimum distance in focus change depends on the specific lens? or when you click the arrow to move just one step that is actually the minimum step the lens can do?
Thanks

Re: RAW to DNG question
Thanks! unfortunately, I'm not receiving emails from your domain, at all, no notification, or from you, nothing. And is not going to the spam folder, not even to the ISP spam folder, they are just not arriving.

5DSR problem
Hi! I just tested the 5DSR for the first time, and I have a problem that I can change the lens to go forward in focus, but the backwards button does nothing at all. Is there a known issue with this camera?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: RAW to DNG question
I already emailed you last night the dropbox information. But I can send you another stack which have really dark parts if you want, but with lots of information on the shadows. I'm not receiving emails from your company, and they are not trapped into the spam folder, I checked already, even on the ...

Re: Aliasing and artifacts from RAW issue
I will upload to my dropbox tomorrow. I have observed these little artifacts and lack of sharpness from 3 different cameras, A7R, Pentax 645Z and Canon 5DSR. So I doubt is the camera, it could probably be something on how the repositioning and scaling of each photo is done, I'm not sure how you can ...

Aliasing and artifacts from RAW issue
Hi! I'm observing and lack of sharpness, some aliasing and artifacts too when stacking from RAW, take a look, the right side is from DNGs directly from the camera and the left side if from 16 bits TIFF from Lightroom. Same sources.

Re: RAW to DNG question
The reason why I ask this is because I have observed that the software is not recognizing correctly the z-depth of some parts that are buried under black in the RAW, but there is enough information in the RAW for the software to actually detect the Z-Depth if is actually looking at the data deep in ...

Re: Saving stack map or stack data
And is is possible to change the sources and keep the stacking process to get an identical result? Here is an example of why I would like to have this, lets say I export something from LR as it is by default, but then I want to re export the same but with a +4 in exposure and, of course, I want to l...

Re: Saving stack map or stack data
Thanks! I had no idea it was possible. With the implementation of RAW use, it is kind of important to have a dynamic brightness adjustment, but that would probably mean you have to re-rasterize the image to show the clipped highlights or the bellow black information. But the amount of useful data in...

Re: RAW to DNG question
and another question, given that in a RAW file there is a lot more information on the shadows that what we can see, like for example from my Pentax 645Z I can easily pull 5 stops up win LR and have a pretty clean image from something that was deep black, is there really better chances for Helicon to...

RAW to DNG question
Hi! just some doubts about this. When I process using the RAW to DNG, are you using Adobe DNG converter to demosaic or debayer? My images are already DNG coming from a Pentax 645Z, so if you use the Adobe DNG to convert or demosiac as it says on your website explanation, how is that you are able to ...
