Catherine,
As I said, my image is using a profile with a Gamma = 1 and the sRGB profile has a Gamma = 2.2 This is precisely the problem!
I have sent you a sample image.
Thanks!,
Manuel

Monitor Profile
Hi, I am using Helicon Focus on a stack of linear gamma images (gamma =1) and all works fine. I now would like to do some retouching but, as espected, the image looks too dark on the screen. - To be more specific my images have been generated in Rawtherapee with the "RT_large_g10.icc"(gamm...

Re: A and B focus points are moving
Do you know if there is any slippage between the manual focusing ring and the lenses? If there is no other solution, I am thinking on driving the manual focusing ring with a microcontroller, a stepper motor and a toothed belt.
Thanks,
Manuel

Manuel

Re: A and B focus points are moving
It is strange that after finishing 25 stacks of 4 slices A & B points have not practically moved while, with 5 slices, you can see, by looking at the files, that the A & B points have moved, bit by bit form the first stack, acumulating a significant displacement at the end of stack 25. Are m...

A and B focus points are moving
Hello, I am photographing objects using panoramas [ 25 to 50 views] with focus stacking. I have the demo version of HR for Windows. What happens is the following: 1) if I use 2, 3, 4 slices on the focus stacking all works fine and the result is great. 2) if I use 5, 6 slices[have not tried with more...

Re: NEF to TIF 16bits
Hello,
Yes, I now see the button "RAW development settings" and have also installed the Nikon codecs.
Unluckly, When I enter the Nikon codec window, the sliders don't seem to be doing anything at all. Also HF crashes most of the time if I try to use Nikon codecs
Regards,
Manuel

Re: batch processing bug?
Hello,
1) HF6.018 crashes when trying to process subfolders
2) HF5 seems to do it but the size of the output focused file is reduced to a fraction of the size of the input NEF files of the stack

Re: batch processing bug?
when do you plan to have a new version of HF with this bug fixed?
is there a previous version of HF that is free from this problem? if yes, how can I download it?
I really need to use this functionality.
Thanks,
Manuel

batch processing bug?
Hello,
HF for Windows produces a bad result [the pics are badly aligned] when using the "import subfolders" option for batch processing. Is this a known bug?
Thanks Manuel

NEF to TIF 16bits
Hello,
If I process NEF files and output the result as a 16bits TIF file, is any tone curve [or any other correction] used on the conversion?
Thanks,
Manuel

add subfolders not working well
Hello, I am trying to batch process a number of subfolders with File--> add subfolders but I find that that the result is bad with multiple edges lines as if the pics are not well aligned. When I do it "by hand" subfolder by subfolder, the result is just fine. I am on windows, using Helico...
