How do I move / change the location / spacing of the clone brush? I assume it will be the same for pattern / texture?
Have tried all sorts of key combos.
Thanks

Not at all, just use the wi-fi dongle
No not at all Stas, But just as you appear be investigating how to use OEM dongles/inbuilt devices, why not investigate one device that could work with many cameras? As far as I can see this dongle is designed to do the job - it would certainly boost the flexibility of Helicon Remote - and expand th...

Update - sorry link was to the wrong review
Oops, This is the review that identified the actual dongle. http://www.thephoblographer.com/2013/05/19/review-camranger-wireless-tether/ BTW the dongle appears to be a TP-LINK TL-MR3040, see here at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088PPFP4/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&...

Solution to small bug with Android/Canon 1DX
Was shooting on-site the other day with my Samsung Tab2 10.1 and my Canon 1DX. Discovered that whilst I had set up nearest and farthest points, all shots were at the same focus - i.e. the nearest. Once I turned off "Live View while shooting" problem was fixed. I normally shoot that way, bu...

WiFi solution - use same basic WiFi module as CamRanger?
Hi Stas, Glad to hear you are working on a WiFi solution. Are you are of CamRanger - ? it appears they essentially use a $50 generic USB-Wi-Fi dongle that they have probably just re-branded. This avoids the need for everyone to buy overpriced OEM WiFi dongles that often won't allow complex tethered ...

Should extension tubes change exposure?
Have just started shooting diamond rings with my Canon 1DX and my EF 100 2.8, previously used my 50D. So far everything great however.... Because the 1DX is a full frame, I can't fill the frame with a ring now at the closest focus distance like I could with the 1.6 crop 50D. So... I popped on my ext...

Featrue Request - faster way to change file names
I often have multiple items to shoot, with relevant changes to the file name for the new stack.
It would be nice to have a 'file name' area in the settings panels or status bar rather than heading off to parameters each time.
At the very least, a display of what the file name is set to?

Canon 1DX - working fine with PC and Android versions
Tested this today with my new 1DX, so far no problem with both PC version (running Win 7 64bit) and Android on my Samsung Tab2 10.1. As usual with Canon, one needs to set Silent Live View Shooting to Disable if you want to trigger non Canon flashes via the hot shoe. BTW I note that under Advanced se...

Re: Android for Remote??
I've just ordered a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet which will run Android 3.1 and 3.2, looking forward to using Helicon remote on on this rather than having to take the laptop. Have sent email to be on Beta testing

Re: Testing Helicon Remote
Hi Stas and Russ, Firstly I can report the latest version (1.15 Beta) seems to be working fine with my Canon 50D. I was using mirror lock-up previously, but now that I can shoot happily in Live View, I use that. Note that as posted elsewhere, to enable non Canon flash triggering you need to set unde...

Re: Helicon Remote trial version and Canon 40d and Canon 7d
Stas, Running HF Pro x64 V 5.0.10 - HR says version 1.14 beta Am having the same problem as Andre with my 50D, i.e. in Auto shoot I get to 9 images and then it freezes. I can shoot manually (which still requires manual focus steps as well). As I recall this was a problem with an earlier version? As ...

Upgrade to Pro 64 from Pro 1 year
Hi Stas, Just discovered my one year Pro license expired a week or so ago, am I still able to upgrade to the Pro 64? or is this only available to a current 1 year license? If so how does this work, do I need to enter the old key somewhere? I've got a few stacks to do tomorrow and would appreciate yo...

Re: Focus Stacking shot time interval
That's right Stas,
the OP discovered that if , in Live View Function Settings, you set Silent shoot to 'disable' then this allows flash to be triggered via the hot shoe with a non Canon flash or (more importantly) with a remote flash trigger. Haven't tried it myself yet.

Suggestion - Manual input of focus steps
Hi Stas, Have been off on another project - finally got a chance to run HR 1.11 through its paces. So far is running very well, the Canon Live View, Mirror Lock Up, x of y shot count etc changes are great. So.... would it be feasible to allow the actual focus steps to be (initially) entered manually...
