Re: source folder

I have since watched the tutorial and realized I was doing it wrong. I've been opening HF, clicking on "Parameters" tab, click on "add new items" icon at top of screen, navigate to selected folder and select stack, click "run," to process stack, click "save" icon at top and navigate to save location...

source folder

HF used to remember the location of the souce folders everytime I ran a stack. (This is when I'm not using the queue to automatically run multiple stacks) Now, after I save the image and clear the queue manually, it always goes back to the samples folder to retrieve the next stack and I have to show...

Re: batch processing using queue

Or the ability to use "Click, shift-click" to select a group of folders or "Control click, click, click..." In my case, if I include the parent folder (which doesn't have any loose files in it, only folders) I'll get the message "You should select source folders".

Re: batch processing using queue

Example: I have a parent folder with six subfolders (I am shooting multiple frames of one object like Spyder is doing). If I click on the parent folder in "files" and then click on "parameters", the program tells me "You should select source images." I have to open parent folder to expose the six su...

Re: batch processing using queue

Stas,

Just wondering. You guys have released three updates since I asked for this feature but it hasn't been included in any of them. (At least it's not working for me) Are you still going to do it?

batch processing using queue

The batch processing capability is a godsend in terms of automating the process of doing multiple stacks. While I love it the way it is, it could be even better if you could click on all the files you want to put in the queue at once, rather than having to do it one at a time. Don't know if this is ...

Re: slow performance of HF 64-bit Pro

Thanks, Stas. The fact that you guys ask for our input to help improve HF is another reason it's such a great program. Keep up the good work!

slow performance of HF 64-bit Pro

I typically run multiple stacks of 16-bit, 120 MB tiffs. Every time I open HF and try to start a stack, it freezes up. I have to close the program with Windows Task Manager, then reopen HF. The second time it usually works, and once it 'hits its stride' it processes subsequent stacks very quickly. W...

Re: processing stacks in queue causing crash

Let me elaborate. When I click on the arrow next to "Run", and click on "Add to queue" it sometimes crashes the computer (program freezes) or it takes 10 minutes to actually add the folder to the queue. It rarely tells me it has been added to the queue like it does when I run jpegs. If I have 10 fol...

processing stacks in queue causing crash

When I process stacks of jpgs in queue, everything works okay. When I try to process stacks of 16-bit tiffs (120 MB each) the program crashes almost every time. What's up?

Re: Auto loading of stacks

Is there a detailed explanation somewhere of how to do so?

Re: Auto loading of stacks

How do you keep the stacks separate. Once they are all in the queue doesn't HF process them all on top of one another?

Auto loading of stacks

Perhaps this feature already exists but it would be enormously helpful if you could direct HF to automatically process multiple stacks (say, within a given folder) and save each of them without having to manually load, clear, and reload them all. As it is, I have to "babysit" the computer doing all ...

crash?

Me again. Sorry. HR was working fine all morning but now when I set parameters and click "Start shooting" nothing happens. Freezes up with the little spinning ball.
