Overview of Settings
Would one of you please point me to an overview of HF settings (radius, smoothing, methods) and how they affect the results. Have been a user for several years. Until now, I have been accepting default settings, but would like to have more insight, since I am doing more and more focus stacking. Resu...

Re: HF Result is Modifying DNG Settings?
Guess I should add: Attempts to render my 12 images are getting the response that brightness varies by more than 70.x%. That may be due to small size of subject and variations in ambient light. I can try to adjust for that and re-process after that.
Any other ideas appreciated.

HF Result is Modifying DNG Settings?
Let me start by again complimenting HF on a superior product. A joy to use, and very helpful in my work process. I just merged a dozen Adobe DNG images all saved with a standard preset in Adobe Camera Raw. Result contains a disappointing bias toward over-bright highlights, which was in fact the enti...

Resizing a small image
I have a number of small images which I would like to enlarge. I noticed that with HF, multi-focal renderings are completed at a much larger size than the individual images from which the renderings were created. I am now thinking of using HF to combine multiple copies of the same image, in order to...

Please advise if there is a Photoshop plug-in configuration for HF 4.7.2 Pro, that allows image editing by HF while working within PS.

Bad Format of DNG
Recently processed my DNG's successfully. Now trying again and getting an error. These DNG's were downloaded from Panasonic G2K,converted from RW2 to DNG, as per normal. Tried several sets of multi-focus images. Same result. Error message is: "Invalid image format. All images in stack should ha...

Update Failed
Opened Helicon Focus on my Mac. Received a notice about an update. Tried to install. Dragged icon into the Apps folder on desktop rather than apps folder in the install window. Nothing happened. Am now unable to open Helicon Focus. Restarted OSX, no help. Would you please point me to a reinstall/res...

Re: Ghost Image
Looking further, found that the low-contrast "copy" outside the image in the attachment is actually an outline from the second image. It appears that manual focusing caused a significant expansion of the image. Please advise the accepted procedure for altering the size of an image. I tried...

Ghost Image
Tried superimposing two images in focus mode. Result was an off-color, expanded copy of the main subject of the image. In the attachment, around the white flower, you will see a greenish, low contrast copy of the flower, larger, all around the exterior of the white bloom. What settings can I use to ...

Re: Panorama Adjustments
Sorry, it is more complicated. there appear to be two issues. 1. Can I resize one image in Helicon prior to rendering a panorama? 2. In rendering the panorama, program appears to revert to focus mode and to reverse the desired order of images. That is, with "Panorama" selected and two imag...

Incomplete Merging
My xDOF sequence may have been compromised by a breeze blowing during the image making process. Tried using HF twice with similar outcomes. See attached.
Please advise if any HF program settings might help in this case.

Ghosting
I'm getting ghosting as shown in attached image. Please show me how to correct this. Of the dozen or so times using Helicon Focus, this is the first time that I have had this issue.
