Instead of using the 70D's Wi-Fi function 'Remote control (EOS Utility)' to connect, can we use the ''Connect to Smartphone' mode, then select 'Camera access point mode'?

This would be helpful because
1. It's easier to fire this mode up in the field (rather than create a network on my tablet ...
