Re: Auto Adjustments Preference
I already read this before I posted this message. The link you provided just describe what the settings are without informing how to decide their values. For instance, there are default values set already but it does not explain why these defaults are set to these numbers. How can I determine the %?...

Auto Adjustments Preference
Under Preferences, auto adjustment, there are adjustment boxes for vertical/Horizontal, rotation and scaling. There are defaults values there. The question is, how to determine the best values for my stack? Is there a formula or way or I just need to do trial and errors to see best results?

Batch mode removes EXIF info
When stacking many folders in batch mode, the EXIF info of the stacked image is absent. I know there was a bug in previous versions and it was fixed but now it returned.

Re: RAW-in-DNG-Out produces out of focus and dull image
The difference is very apparent. Having said what you said, it means if I use Nikon Codec, Helicon will stack the image and adjust contrast/brightness etc and if I use the DNG codec, images won't be adjusted in the similar manner?

Re: RAW-in-DNG-Out produces out of focus and dull image
Hi
As you can see from my post above, I said the image result I got is exactly like the one you got after processing. If you compare your image to my stacked image using Nikon codes which is in dropbox , you will see that mine is sharper. Why?

Re: RAW-in-DNG-Out produces out of focus and dull image
Hi
Your resulted image is exactly what I got in RAW-in-DNG-out mode. If you see my focused image is much sharper and brighter....pls compare.
Note: Monday I will upload my RAW-in-DNG-out photo

Re: RAW-in-DNG-Out produces out of focus and dull image
Please find below the link to dropbox where you will find: 1- The stacks of photos 2- The in focus image stacked using Nikon codec plugin in Helicon focus. If you stack them using RAW-in-DNG-Out codec and compare to the stacked photo here, you will see it is out of focus and dull. thanks https://www...

RAW-in-DNG-Out produces out of focus and dull image
I am trying the RAW-in-DNG-Out codec but the stacked image comes out of focus and dull. If I use Nikon Codec (as I use nikon camera) the result image comes out in focus and with a nice brilliance. What's the reason?
Note: I use the latest CameraRaw 9.1 if that makes a difference.

Re: Exif Info missing on output pictures
Today I set a batch stack and I noticed that the output TIFF file has its EXIF removed. I have "ignore EXIF" unchecked. Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong?
Note: in a normal stack (no batch mode) the EXIF is preserved.

Ok, after many tests I can confirm that the lens correction factor is 1, the default of Helicon remote. Happy stacking.

Nikkon D750, Focus point, S (single) or Auto?
Shall I set the focus point on my camera to S (single focus point) or to Auto?

Re: Nikkor 105mm Micro Lens Correction factor
alright, I will do the correction factor test again but I need to ask, how far should be my pattern sheet from the lens so I can have a good test? Should the camera be angled at 45 degrees or perpendicular? Thanks
