Looks like Mac version introduced Masc only feature, namely OpenCL support for M1 with macOS 12.5.

8 core GPU with a modern mid range GPU will work very nicely.

My 8 core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with the NVIDIA Quadro RTX4000 gives me a score of 582.77, under Win 10.

Launch Helicon Focus, select Help>Register online, insert the licence number and it will register online.

You register within Helicon Focus, not LR CC.

When installing Helcion Focus make sure you install the LR plug-in to use Helicon from within LR.

Other people, I know, stacked first then created the panorama, but the panorama was stitched in another program like Photoshop.

In version 8.0.2 there is a Render and a Render Preview button on the bottom right of screen (Win version). However up on the toolbar (top left), there is only a Render button.

For consistency I would suggest adding the Render Preview button at the top left.

Helicon already has a similar feature. If Helicon identifies an issue it will place a red triangle on the thumbnail on bottom left of screen. When you move your mouse over the triangle you see the message.

It only seems to update on major releases. So I go to the website and download the latest version manually.

My issue was caused by a cache size and location problem. Version 7.7.0 now extracts TIF files from videos not JPG files. The cache size is now much, much bigger.

My cache, located on a RAM drive, was filling up before all frames were extracted, causing the stack to fail. Helicon cache now ...

Only the bigger updates show up when you ask Helicon to check. Which is why I come to the website and check manually.
