Re: Support for a few challenges
Hi, 1. Right-click every one of the brush parameter sliders on the retouching tab to reset it to the default value. Let me know if that didn't help. 2. We have no control over how Lightroom is exporting the images, but try this: right-click any of the images - Open containing folder. Copy one image ...

Re: Software is rendering sharp edges blurry
Hello Joe, Thanks for uploading the images right away, makes it easy to see what the problems is and experiment with it. The general solution for halos is to increase the radius with the method B, and in this case it works as well. Try radius = 25. But it comes with a downside of reducing sharpness ...

Re: Is the Fuji 80mm lens good for focus stacking
Pls see attached - any tips on how to prevent the halos ? Try increasing the radius (examples in the guide on focus stacking parameters ). Also try different methods. And also some of the small stems are crossing each other - what can i do about it. Use the retouching function. Sometimes you will ...

Re: Is the Fuji 80mm lens good for focus stacking
That's an alignment issue. Try a couple different parameter combinations with the method B, try method C (with two or three different Smoothing values). Try increasing the "Adjust vertically/horizontally/scale" values in Preferences - Autoadjustments, but if it doesn't help then return back to the ...

Hi! The files are sorted by name, so yes, renaming them out of order would be a problem.

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Converting JPG to DNG is a suspicious operation which makes no sense because JPG is not a raw format to begin with. Once that's done by Lightroom, I'm not sure there is anything we can do. But maybe. We'll check.

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Thanks, got it, we'll see if there's a simple fix. The proper solution will still always be to not mix JPG and raw images (raw and non-raw,in general), because the color profiles are not interchangeable between them. That is likely the reason for the color shift you're observing as well.

I have no idea, I have not deleted anything, and you were able to post this one, so it's not like the forum is broken. Are you sure you actually posted, i. e. submitted, your messages, and they were visible after refreshing the forum page?

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Could you please upload one JPG and one raw image with which the problem occurs? Doesn't matter what's on them as long as the tint is visible.

Re: D850: advice for managing live view shooting images
You can pre-select RAW+JPEG in the camera, or you can select it in Helicon Remote, the result will be the same. It will not be rolled back to a different format, if you made changes in Helicon Remote - the camera will be left with these changes after it's disconnected.

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
That's interesting! Do you get this tint if you render one JPEG with one raw file?
And thanks for letting us know about the problem, as well as the solution!

Sounds like it's not a problem with the permissions. Please reproduce the saving error and send a bug report: menu - Help - Report a bug.

Re: Error while capturing
Hi, I'm not sure I understand the problem. Did you get the same "Failed to save" message, created the folder manually, and then it saves there, but numeration is not what you wanted? In that case it's a Mac thing, check System Preferences - Privacy & Security - Files and Folders, check if Helicon ...
