Hi, it's impossible for the software to detect focus adjustments made outside of the software. You can select the first focus position by any means convenient to you, but then you must use the focus stepping buttons in Helicon Remote to select the other point (<<<, <<, < / >, >>, >>> buttons).

Please send a bug report after one of these errors occurs (menu - Help - Report a bug).

I understand, and you can start by multiplying the number in Helicon Remote by 15, see if it looks similar to what the in-camera numbers amount to.

A few seconds per shot is normal/unavoidable.

The units in the camera most certainly do not match the value you're seeing in Helicon Remote. They may match this value times the number of steps in the settings (15 by default), but we don't really know.

Most likely, it's because of the graphics driver being too old. Installing the latest Nvidia driver should fix it.
Otherwise, let me know what error message you get after re-enabling OpenCL in Preferences - Performance, and restarting Helicon Focus.

That is unfortunate, if it was rooted you'd be able to read the system log and see info about the crash. Do you have a Windows computer?
