When I connect my T7I to my Samsung s7 using the camera wifi, it connects, the shutter opens, and wifi disconnects. Am I missing changing a setting?

I have a Canon T7i(750d) and a Samsung S7. I installed the app and start wifi on the camera. As soon as I connect to the camera in the app, the mirror flips open and wifi disconnects. Am I missing a setting?
