Re: WiFi and Z7ii
As requested, a report has been sent. What I found out is the custom setting "c3 Power Off Delay" will kill the wifi of the camera. If I set the value of "Standby Timer" to "No Limit", this does not happen. Just be sure to reset back to your usual timeout value to save your battery. It would be nice ...

WiFi and Z7ii
I am able to connect Helicon Remote 4.3.1 W to Nikon Z7ii with WiFi. The problem is that the camera switches off the live view on the back of the camera and then Helicon Remote loses the live view. I can't get it back without restarting Helicon Remote.

Re: Nikon Z7ii
Thanks Catherine! Although that wasn't the problem, you did point me to the screen that allowed me to fix the problem. I was unaware of this screen and all the options that were available. Here is how I have it set now:

Live view image upside down
New camera, lots of questions, but lets start simple. I finally got Helicon Remote to connect to my Z7ii with USB. Why is the is the preview upside down? It is correct on the back of the camera.

Re: Lightroom not seeing .dng output as unique
I just had an idea ... In Lightroom, I examined the image in the Develop module. I saw the correct image!!
I don't know what the format of a DNG file is, but lets assume that it contains an embedded JPEG that Lightroom is displaying in the grid and loupe views. If this is the case then it looks to ...

Re: Lightroom not seeing .dng output as unique
I have experienced the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!
I have performed the following:
I rendered a 22 image stack with both methods B and C. I then unchecked 14 images, leaving 8 images checked. These 8 images were rendered with method C. The three rendered images are then saved to Lightroom. When I view all ...

Correction Factor for Micro-Nikkor 105mm
I am curious what other folks are using for a correction factor for Nikon's 105mm macro lens. I did some testing with this lens on my D810. I determined that I could use CF 1.8 without seeing any out of focus banding. I did try CF 2.1 but saw some very faint banding. In a real world this would ...

Re: histogram not functioning
Thank you! I had done additional searching through the menus and found "Tools->Live View->Exposure Simulation" would solve my problem. I don't know what caused this to not work for me, but all is fine now.

Re: Making filenames unique within a stack
I’m new to Helicon Remote so take what I have to say with the proverbial grain of salt. I leave my images on the camera, do not use files named by Helicon Remote. When I take my images I separate each stack with a blank image by putting the lens cap on the camera and taking an image. Then when I ...

histogram not functioning
All functions with camera seem to be working. Camera in manual exposure mode. Adjusting focus with Helicon Remote changes display - I love the focus peaking feature! Changing f-stop with Helicon Remote changes f-stop on camera, but no indication of change in exposure with either the display or the ...
