Version 8 returned an error about not creating cache. Resolved that and set cache for 9.0.5.

Program now starts, but shows as trial. How do I transfer license to 9.0.5?

Hi. HF 8 executes fine on MacBook Air M5 with Tahoe. When I try and execute HF 9.0.5 nothing happens other than the Dock at bottom of screen expanding and contracting as if it is trying to show an app.

Try using Live View. I had a similar problem with my camera and using Live View resolved my problem.

I see in the text for the FBT that it stores the five latest configurations. Is that in non-volatile memory such that if the FBT is removed from the camera and then re-installed at a later date the configuration data is still in the FBT?

Hello. I just saw your post.

I have a similar configuration, but have a 1D X Mark III.

The steps you posted for connection to the iPhone just load the data into the FBT.

After you load the data you operate the camera to take the photos.

You need to be sure that the camera does not go to sleep ...

The most recent firmware showing in my iPhone app is 1.3.12. Is this the actual latest?

Did you try with LiveView? My 1D X Mark III wouldn’t work with optical viewfinder but did work with LiveView.

Interim follow-up based on some information provided by Catherine - I was able to get the FB Tube to work with the 1D X Mark III if I used Live View. Optical viewfinder setting did not trigger lens focus shift.

I have confirmed using several lenses that the FB Tube is not compatible with the Canon 1D X Mark III.

Works fine with my Canon Rebel T5i/700D.
