Camera Connected but no functions or Live View?
The weirdest thing just happened. I have been using helicon remote/focus for over 2 years now and have had my issues with troubleshooting different things. I use to have this issue where all of a sudden the focusing steps (in-camera focusing steps on canon) would make huge leaps. Ex. I would set my ...

Re: Canon R5 Flash Not triggering
Thank you!
I believe the Preference -> Shooting -> Enable live View When Shooting to "No" is what solved it. Appreciate the tip, I didn't know where to find this option at first!

Re: Issue with steps + Shutter speed?
In the interface its fine, but on my camera it starts taking much larger steps. I don't understand, because as soon as I set it back to a lower shutter speed, the steps sizes are correct again. All settings changes are done through the helicon remote interface.

Issue with steps + Shutter speed?
I've been having a really weird issue lately. I've used the helicon remote with my canon 5dsr and 100 mm in the past perfectly fine. But lately, as soon as I start to increase my shutter speed 1/40+ it just randomly decides to take much larger steps then I originally set. Sometimes when I disconnect...

Helps to improving stack
Hey guys, I've been working on improving my stacked shots for over a year now. And while I believe I have made significant improvements considering all the variables (camera, rail, subject, lighting and software) there is still one big hold up. In some of my stacks, there seems to be blurring when t...
