If remember well, time ago you said that you are working for a new release, (v.3?) with improvement in sub-stacking and other functionalities.
Is it always planned?

Helicon crash with windows 11
I've updated my laptop with Windows 11, and when I import the images using the batch option (F7), the software randomly crashes, either reading the data from the SSD card or with the images (ARW SONY format) copied in the internal HD. Once imported the software works correctly. Have you observed the...

Re: Slava Ukraini - Hope you are all safe
Kharkiv today again heavily bombed by russian army.
Kharkiv, the town where is located the HeliconSoft headquarter.
I hope that all the Helicon team is safe somewhere else, far away from this nightmare.

Info about new releases
Hello, Where is it possible to find information about the latest installed versions or available patches? I mean, I've installed the release 8.0.2 to replace the previous version, and I'm wondering if it is available a document in .txt format that describes in how the latest version has improved. Th...

.ARW vs .TIF
I performed a 286 image acquisition of a Pseudobrookite crystal, using a Mitutoyo Apo 5x objective. I have calculated the stack with Method C (smoothing = 2) using the file in RAW format (.ARW from SONY camera) and its 16bit .TIF (converted from Photoshop, without compression LZW). Comparing the two...

Slabbing issue
I did a test on a bee acquiring 259 images, performed a split consisting of 10 images + 1 overlap obtaining 29 substacks. Compiling with Method C in Helicon, and comparing it with Zerene's PMax, there are some errors in the compiled image, as visible in the three images visible below. Some bristles ...

Re: Some areas of focus stacked image are now Pink
Tim, I've observed the same problem with my stacks. The bright areas that must be white, now have an unusual strange pinkish/violet color (see attached image). With the new updated version (v.7.7.4), this effect is always present, as the darker image if you need to retouch the image using another ou...

Re: Problem when retouching the image
The problem arise also if I export from Camera RAW the source files (in ARW) to .DNG Format.
The image used as a reference (to copy from) is much darker and unusable.
Anyone has encountered the same problem?

Problem when retouching the image
Good morning, I've noticed that when I launch the retouching tool using the function "Use another output as a source", the image on the left is darker and pale compared to the image that I need to retouch in the right panel. The operation of pixel replacement works correctly, but the main ...
