Can't Use Canon EF 24-70 mm f/2.8 L
I can use Remote no problems with my Canon 5D MK III and my Canon 100mm Macro. Sometimes though, I need to use my Canon EF 24-70 mm f/2.8 L for larger table top shots. I can't get it to work with remote though. It refuses to focus. If I try to focus using the arrows in Remote, the lens zooms wildly ...

Re: Does Remote Work With Zoom Lens?
I've finally had time to try this again. I cannot get Remote to work with this lens. I can't get it to focus at all with the << keys. It just zooms wildly in and out and doesn't focus on anything. I have it set to manual focus. I turned off mirror lock-up. I'm shooting Manual with single shot. I tur...

Does Remote Work With Zoom Lens?
Sorry, I didn't see this in your FAQs. I'm using Remote with my Canon 100mm Macro and it works great. I try using it with my Canon 24-70mm L and I can't focus on any point. It zooms in and out wildly. Is there some setting I should be using or does it not work with a zoom? Oh, Camera is Canon 5D MKI...

Thank you. I ended up seeing this in another post and tried to delete my post, but wasn't able to. Working great now.

Re: Alternate rotation during shootoing
Ah, I just posted this question as well! I'm shooting down. I didn't know there was an auto-rotation in the camera menu. I have the Canon 5D MK III. Solved.

Captures Mixed Portrait & Landscape Format
I used Helicon Remote a bit last year with no problems. I just set it up tethered to use this year for the first time and I shot 15 frames. The problem is that the first and last shots came in at Landscape format and all the others came in in portrait format. So, I can't combine everything in Helico...

So Pleased With Helicon!
For the past year, I've been doing focus stacking with Lightroom tethered - focusing manually - and then putting together in Photoshop. Doing the manual tethering was time consuming and my results in Photoshop were seldom great. Doing automated blending rarely worked, no matter how many shots I took...
