Hello Catherine, the latest version (8.2.17) for macOS 15.0 still can’t initialize OpenCL. Tried to activate it several times and after every restart of the app it prompts the error.

The current state of the Mac or better macOS is that OpenCL is officially dead. Metal 2 is the way to go. Apple announced that in 2018 already. They did that the same time they announced the end of OpenGL support. So I guess I’ll have to check my M1 Max MacBook Pro that arrives tomorrow and do some ...
