Re: Calibrated depth map?

Depth map can be both obtained from .obj file and saved as a black&white image (exported depth map). The min value (0) corresponds to the first image of the stack, the max value - to the last one. If you know the distance between frames, the depth map can be easily calibrated.

Re: Sony a7R3 Support?

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not plan to make a tube specifically for Sony cameras. We know that some of our customers use it on their Sony cameras+Canon lenses, but not every adapter is supported. This is something that can only be checked experimentally.

Re: Blurred spots around edges

Methods C and B use a pyramid method in image processing where contrast areas may affect the adjacent ones, almost like in HDR processing. Methods A and B Legacy (Edit -> Preferences -> General / Show legacy B method) should not produce this kind of effect

Re: Calibrated depth map?

Yes, it's possible. If А is a starting point, and B is the end point, the depth map step is (B-А)/255

Re: Lens focus stuck on f32

The tube will work with a compatible lens even at default, no matter what lens you choose in the app. The lens you select affects the size of the step only, there's no conflict between the tube and the lens if you select a wrong one. This will only result in you setting a step size that may not be o...

Re: Compatibility with D7000

Yes, we do already have positive reports from our customers on use of the tube with D7000 body, we will update the compatible hardware list on the website. We haven't tested this lens, but if it's an AF-S lens with a built-in motor, it should work fine.

Did you try to ping that address? Pretty sure it won't respond, the message you're getting is most likely correct. Although that is the correct IP address for Nikon. Do you have another active network adapter in your Windows computer besides the Wi-Fi? Could be a network routing issue if there are t...

Re: Nikon D750, Leica S9 D and Helicon Remote

1. If it's an AF lens and autofocus works, you can use it for automated focus bracketing with Helicon Remote. But the best way to make sure is to give it a try, it costs nothing. 2. We can't know the answer to that, but Helicon Remote offers a DOF calculator with which you'll be able to figure it ou...
