Dimitri,

We have to change our Mac developer so 4.0 version for Mac is postponed.

Dimitry,

Great image, thanks!

Have you already tried retouching functions of the Helicon Focus 4.0 Pro?
Any comments?

Fred,

The only way to grab cusor as I know is to use Corel Capture. But it is not the problem.

I think it depends on image resolution. I will check it with 12mp 16 images.

Actually it should copy the area under cursor, so it looks like to be a bug.

I would appreciate the print screen with this situation. And maybe a couple of images from your stack to recreate the problem here.

I think you'd better process images with HF first and then with panorama.

Otherwise HF can have problems with registration of images.

Hi! Layered file: no, it is not possible. And I doubt the PS would work with 20-30 10Mp files with 16 bit quality and masks. Anyway, we solved this problem in windows version 4.0 by adding special retouching functions. Now we are working on Mac version. Editor:have a look at the title of the program...

Sorry for the delay, I am just back from vacation. Yes, you need to purchase Helicon Focus (unlimited) first to be able to upgrade with this special offer. Cloning and registration: Normally, the images are properly aligned so you can copy the area from the source image to the same place on the resu...

Sorry, the price is the same. Helicon Filter license is included as a free bonus to Helicon Focus Pro. You can transfer Filter license to your friend with PC if you like.

Irwin, First of all, a nice shot! Fringing: I think you mean well known problem, halo around edges over smooth background. We are now preparing new version of Helicon Focus (Pro edition) which will have retouching function to easily fix those artifacts. I was not able to made this automatically, sor...

What I like the most is the blurred background :)) Helicon Focus users often can't stop and create _infinite_ depth of field. Nice flower:)

The program uses the first image in the stack as a base image and aligns all other images accordingly.

You can change the order of the images in the Helicon Focus and reprocess the stack.

Scott, Helicon Focus determines the best focused plane to use in the resulting image by measuring the contrast of the image areas. It looks like the glared on the penny even unfocused on other images create quite high contrast which is interpreted by the program as details. So the program merges foc...
