I managed to lose the registration key

I KNEW IT! I KNEW when I got the email that I SHOULD have copied all the information to a file and put it with the rest of the Helicon Focus stuff... BUT, OF COURSE I didn't 'cause it was SAFELY STORED IN THE EMAIL.................. Which would have worked FINE except that I finally got enough spam ...

Re: Getting the Correction Factor right...

Thanks Stas... I look forward to fiddling with the new version. The updated version for the Nexus 9 works great - it cut out all the jittering and big screen lag. To make the whole correction factor EXTRA interesting, I frequently use a Nikon 70-200 with extension tubes. And the size of the tube 12m...

Re: Getting the Correction Factor right...

From my experiments, I BELIEVE (for what that's worth) the "Big" step is 4X the "Small" step on a Canon. When experimenting, I found that the SMALL step gave smoother results - less banding and smaller increments. For me, the number of frames I can shoot generally depends on the ...

Getting the Correction Factor right...

I've been playing. This is what happens when you're a geek and don't have a life. All my examination of the TIF output of the stacks was in Bridge CC with no sharpening, at full screen, at 100% on my calibrated 30" monitor. Images are 7360 x 4912 px. I took my Nikon D810 with the Tamron SP 90mm...

Re: Saving Images in Folder with hour and minute?

Got it. Hopefully, this will help keep me from clobbering old stacks with new stacks!

Re: D810, Helicon Remote and Nexus 9

I don't know where it's wound up, but I've attached a small piece of video captured from the screen of the Nexus 9 that shows the behavior I'm seeing.

Saving Images in Folder with hour and minute?

How do I create a folder for saving stacks that contains the hour and minute in addition to the default folder information? For example, my default folder appears to be [year4].[month].[day]_[counter] What I'd like it to be is [year4].[month].[day].[24hour][minute]_[counter] It's a problem because w...

Re: D810, Helicon Remote and Nexus 9

Unfortunately, I tried to post several days ago, and it never appeared in the forum. So, this was an attempt to get a topic in here... OK, I have a Nexus 7 that I've used with Helicon Remote. It's slow, but it works. I recently purchased a Nexus 9 that I attempted to use with my Nikon D810 and the c...

D810, Helicon Remote and Nexus 9

Has ANYBODY had any luck using Helicon Remote with a Nexus 9? I've tried posting twice on this and nothing ever seems to appear in the forum, and I'm having significant difficulties getting the combination to work. Since nothing seems to show up here I've been asking in other forums to see if anyone...

Re: Canon 5D Mk II with Galaxy Tab 4 7"

Thanks for the replies... She's now sent the tablet back to Amazon and will see if she can find an alternative to the HR software or wait until it works flawlessly with her existing iPad.

Canon 5D Mk II with Galaxy Tab 4 7"

For once, it's not ME that's broken something! A friend purchased a tablet on my recommendation of Helicon Remote as an image stacking solution. She bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" tablet. When she attempted to install the version of HR from the Play store, it doesn't show up in the list of ap...

Re: Output of Helicon Focus not placed in source folder

Unfortunately, I have no idea what "please check if autoimport depends on saving Helicon Focus result" means... As I said in the original post, EVERY OTHER tool I use that exports, automatically returns the result to Lightroom - Nik HDR Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Sharpener Pro, Photomatix,...

Output of Helicon Focus not placed in source folder

Standard PC. Windows 7, 64-bit. Lightroom 5.6 HF 6.2.2 I'm getting some odd behavior between LR and HF... Unlike some of the recent topics, on my system the plugin shows up in the list of Lightroom Exports. The problem is the poor coordination. I select a set of files in a folder in Lightroom. Expor...
