Problem with Update installation for 8.1.0
the installation proceeds to the point where sample images JPGs are installed and then the PNG files.
You can hand delete the files
Best work around is to uninstall and then re-install
I'm running Norton AV

Re: DNG export from Lightroom not working as expected
Thank you ... I am happy to hear that my observations are correct. I can see that my "problem" lies in LightRoom and not Helicon

Re: Exposure alignment
I agree that we perhaps need this type of functionality. I have noticed that if I make a stack from an object where the image contrast is very high at the edge of the main object OR when I use a StacKShot jig (so I move the camera rather than the focus adjust) Helicon can get confused

DNG export from Lightroom not working as expected
I'm working with RAF (Fujifilm RAW) images taken with UV fluorescence, so the images are noisy and mostly underexposed. My expected workflow. ... 1) Crop one image in LR to expected size based on the visible light image captured at the same time. 2) Synchronize in LR the cropping across all of the i...

Helicon fails to return output image to Lightroom
I'm running Helicon Pro. I usually send my stack as DNG from Lightroom Classic. I then process in Helicon; usually I'll make an "A" & "B" & "C" and then save these back to LR for processing. If I make one stack into Helicon then process it and send it back to LR...

Re: Newbie Help
Could be LR has not actually catalogued the stack output image. Have you watched the excellent "how to do it" videos? https://www.heliconsoft.com/tutorials/36/ Might be worth just checking you got all of the steps -- my first attempts were "interesting" until I'd followed the pro...

Love the concept, but I would crop the left hand side by 15% --- or certainly remove or darken the highlight

Re: Before stack: Image looks fine. After Stack way over saturated
I'd suggest the CR2 files only - JPG files have had a considerable amount of pre-processing of their own - if you use LightRoom and can use the Raw-in-DNG-out method, you'll get greater control of the final output because the processing on a DNG is like processing a RAW
