Re: Automatic labeling of output files is incorrect
When saving the files from such a parametric study the filenames do reflect the correct R and S settings, but the labels in the output list is where the problem is.

Automatic labeling of output files is incorrect
While experimenting with radius and smoothing parameters for a set of source images I noticed that the automatic labeling of output files is incorrect. For instance if I set R=1 and S=4 the automatic labeling shows R=4 and S=1.

Re: Slabbing
Thanks Stas, the usefulness of this would be expanded by allowing output of partial stacks to be available for editing. For instance if one processes an entire stack without slabbing, and then finds that some bristles need retouching, it would be of benefit to be able to process a partial stack that...

Re: Slabbing
Stas, I'm finding that the real utility in slabbing is not so much in the generation of the base image, but in the editing of it. For 10X images with a microscope objective I'm using 5 micron focus increments to avoid focus gaps. At that fine of depth of field it can be very tedious to correct brist...

Re: Slabbing
After spending many hours fiddling with a very bristly subject I've come to the conclusion that there does not seem to be any strong advantage to slabbing as far as the clarity of the final outcome. If anything the slabbed result seemed to have a bit less resolution than the product of normal proces...

Re: Slabbing
Thanks Stas, I will try to work up a clear example. Where should I post a stack?

Slabbing
Any chance that Helicon Focus could automatically process overlapping subgroups of files to create slab images as a future feature? The slabs could then be processed as normal. In addition to improving the treatment of overlapping features slabbing increases the total number of files that HF can pro...

Re: Stackshot hint?
Also, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that the shutter trigger cable is not required to be connected between the stackshot and the camera while working within Helicon Remote. Version 2.6.0 works as well. The missing link seemed to the USB controller driver.

Re: Stackshot hint?
Thanks Stas. Initially the new beta version did not seem to work on the netbook so I tried a desktop PC. The desktop system immediately started searching for a USB controller driver, apparently for one buried in the stackshot. Afterward I was able to operate the stackshot rail from within Helicon Re...

Stackshot hint?
I recently bought a Cognysis Stackshot kit and have worked out how to develop a stack with the controller only. I was interested in using it with Helicon Remote to take advantage of its extensive exposure bracketing capability, but can't get the rail to move through the software to define the near a...

Queue Processing in Helicon Focus
The setting up of a queue for batch processing is much faster now than it was just a few releases ago. Thank you.
