Re: Helicon 3D Viewer blank output
We're investigating the problem. In the meantime, please use an older version of the 3D Viewer that works. Download this, and only replace replace the 3D Viewer:

Re: M3 Max support
That is pretty much how it works, yes. We were waiting for Mac Mini with M3 because we really don't want/need a laptop, but there is still not even a release date for it, so yes, we are getting a Macbook.

Re: M2 Ultra Support
It likely does work because we see that people have been able to activate it and submit their benchmark results. If you already have the M2 Ultra system then the best answer would be to download Helicon Focus and see for yourself, but yes, it does seem to be working.

Re: "Clouds" in my image
It may very well be that these bits are not present in the source images due to focus breathing, which is why the first step in such a case is to use the retouching tool to see whether you can manually paint in the missing detail. You may well discover that it's not possible. And if it is possible, ...

Re: scientific scale
Do I understand correctly that you want to save your scale settings and recall them later? To have a list of stored scales that you can select from?
There was never such a function in Helicon Focus. There were never any scale-related functions that are not present in Helicon Focus 8.

Re: Soft output compared to Photoshop
The radius and smoothing parameters may affect the image, but you said you tried different combinations. So we're thinking that maybe Photoshop develops raw files better than the DNG converter. The default radius and smoothing should be pretty good (you can reset to default by right-clicking the sli...

Re: Soft output compared to Photoshop
Are your source images raw files? Try converting to JPG or TIFF and comparing these converted files between Photoshop and Helicon Focus.

Re: Raw-DNG troubles
That's unfortunate. I wonder if there's a way to bring this issue up with Adobe. At the very least, they have active forums where it can be discussed with other knowledgeable users.

Re: Failed to create dng file from raw using Adobe Converter
Hi Manfred,
Please send a bug report (menu - Help - Contact support) after the error occurs. I have no idea what it could be, though. The symptoms are typical for a RAM shortage, but I don't imagine you're running out of 64 GB. Either way, a support request will help.

Re: Raw-DNG troubles
Hello, Helicon Focus should not alter the exposure of your images, most likely it's the Adobe DNG converter doing that. You can verify by opening the Adobe DNG converter manually, converting your raw file and inspecting the resulting DNG file in different programs. We haven't heard about simply chan...

Re: Problems with microscope panorama
Hello Thomas,
I think we need to see your panorama stack (source images) to see what's wrong. Can you give us a subset of it (just enough to demonstrate the problem)?
