Hi,
Sorry about this problem, I understand that the app is unusable for you when it crashes all the time. We are working on the new version of the app as fast as we can and it should be released soon. It addresses many issues, and likely this one as well.

Re: Critical Error
1. Which e-mail did you specify when submitting the bug report form? We don't see any reports that look like they might be from you. 2. I can recommend anything regarding the lenses, that's not our area of expertise. Sorry. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will read your question and give some ...

Hello Hugo, 1. When the error occurs again, please restart Helicon Focus and send a bug report (menu - Help - Contact support). 2. Send the bug report from Helicon Remote after shooting a stack (menu - Help - Report a bug) and we'll see why it's taking so long and what can be optimized. 5 seconds be...

Re: Settings Sony A1 that work for you...
Most likely, some other software has installed an incorrect driver for the A1. Go to the Device Manager, find the device corresponding to your camera, right-click - Delete. Tick the checlbox to delete the driver files. Then reconnect the camera and let Windows install the default driver.

Re: Settings Sony A1 that work for you...
It absolutely has to be "PC Remote", and the problem is most likely in the operating system. Is this on Windows?

Re: No liveview with sony alpha 1
The iOS app is outdated, my bad for not considering you might be using it. We are working on an update right now and it should come out pretty soon, please just wait. You could check that the lens is in AF mode and the camera is in MF, and set the step size to Big in the settings (menu - Settings - ...

Re: problem after updating
Hi Massimiliano,
That is unlikely to have anything to do with Helicon Focus.
Do you have OpenCL enabled in the Helicon Focus menu - File - Preferences - Performance? If yes, try disabling it.

Hi,
I don't know of anything specific that needs to be done, it should just work. Could you reset the camera body settings?
