Re: video recording with D750
Stas I have found a thread for iPad where you say WiFi video recording won't work on the D750 "plain & simple". Well that's a step backwards from the D610! and yes it just disconnects with no message!

Re: video recording with D750
OK I have now tried WiFi with the D610 and the WU-1b and HR worked fine when recording video, so now I'm puzzled why the D750 drops out and won't record, any help would be useful!

video recording with D750
Hi Stas, I have just tried video recording with my D750 from HR on Android with WiFi and after 1 second of video the camera disconnects. I then tried using a usb connection and all was perfectly ok, but this is sometimes not very convenient. It would seem that the problem is at the Nikon end but may...

Re: Nikon D500
Stas, You don't say what it is about the D500 that is different to make it incompatible, so do think that the D500 is an "oddball" in this respect or do think that the incompatibilities with Remote are going to be a trend with more new Nikon cameras?

Re: problems with Android devices
I updated my third Android from 3.6.2 to 3.7.3 and I had the same issues. I had to uninstall and reinstall 3.7.3 to get Remote to work properly.

problems with Android devices
Stas, I have not tried Remote on Android for quite a while but I was outside so I had to. Using v3.7.3 on my mobile when I went to "take a picture" the app froze and timed out. Stacking impossible. All live view focussing, preview etc works ok. I then tried my tablet on 3.7.3 with the same...

latest Win version
Not a big issue but when I used the "check for updates" in 3.6.2w it said "up to date". I then found there was a 3.6.3w and downloaded that. So is the self checker reliable?

Re: d7200 and video
Stas, having seen this thread I tried recording video with my new D750 using wifi on Android, and HR crashed out after I tapped "start recording video". It works fine tethered. My D610 is also fine with both methods. I noticed that "Network connection" in the D750 camera Menu had...

Re: Nikon d750
Stas, the IP address is different for each network. My home hub comes up with 192.168.1.18. Orto had exactly the same problem, posted in Nikon Dxxx and iOS connection troubles 31.8.2015 : Ok, did that already yesterday: 1. Turned on D750 - Turn on WiFi - Reset Network Settings 2. Connect iPad to WU_...

Nikon d750
I have been trying to wi-fi connect my new d750 to my android devices and getting "refused to connect" messages. Now I have found an answer. When I look at the wi-fi details on the android device wi-fi settings, it says the IP address of Nikon-WU2 xxxx is 192.168.1.2. So that is what I put...

Re: Defining save folder (android)
IMHO Google changed permissions in Kitkat because before that security (permissions) was a total mess. The whole system was extremely vulnerable. Unfortunately this has now messed up Apps being able to write to ext SD because permissions can't be allocated to the ext SD format.

Sorry yes the Nikon is 5 pin Mini-B USB 2.0, your Samsung is Micro-B, USB 3.0
search Ebay for "Mini USB 2.0 to USB 2.0A cable" and "MICRO USB 3.0 to Female USB OTG"
