Depth map reversed?

Post by tim_t »

When I stack the images it looks fine, but when I examine the depth map it seems reversed. In the depth map, the object on top of my desk actually is embedded into it...the 3d modeller makes it obvious (see image and 3d model snapshot attached).

Why is this?

Please check the Invert surface option in 3D Viewer to make the 3d model look correct. It depends on the shooting direction and sorting order.

Thanks, the "Invert surface" worked, I missed that option somehow earlier.

I did try re-arranging the image order in the "Source Images" window but it didn't have an effect. Would I need to change the time stamps to have an effect?

Thanks

I missed that option earlier, that did the trick. Re-ordering the photo sorting didn't help though.

Thanks-
