Hi
I'm a commercial photographer involved in the industry. I purchased helicon software some months ago and I found really really usefull. So congratulation and thank you for your work. I would like to know if there is a way to use the software or the Z depth that I see when it's rendering the image coming from focus stacking, to produce an alpha channel that could be used in photoshop to separate the object from its background. With that channel postprocessing will be faster without loosing ours with the pen tool and selections in PH. I look forward to have an answer regarding that from you.
Best Regards
Sebastiano
ALPHA CHANNEL FROM FOCUS STACK PROCESS
Re: ALPHA CHANNEL FROM FOCUS STACK PROCESS
You can save the depth map (Saving tab -> Save depth map), add it as a mask and select the area in PS. Another option is to export layers to .png (Saving tab -> Export layers)
