I am doing a trial of Helicon for focus stacking. This week I did a photo session where I shot some peony flowers using the focus bracketing in my Fuji XT3 camera then stacked the images in Helicon. I took 7 fairly different compositions, all in RAW.
All the results from Helicon look brilliant at first sight but have a strange grid effect when you zoom in which isn't there in the individual images. The appearance is like a canvas texture overlay
Please can you explain this and tell me how to avoid it.
Please find attached example of the problem
Thank you
Clare
