Reimporting problem with project files

Post by wa-so »

Hello,

I'm quiet new with HF and having a problem, reimporting a project file.
I made a stack of several images including retouching, saved it as a project (xxx.hproj) and tried to reimport it, clicking 'loading project file' and double click the xxx.hproj.
I always get the error message:
'Failed to load project file: File not found: C:/Users/xxx/AppData/Local/Temp/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/filename_of_an_image.tif

What happened?
Did I do something completely wrong? Can't imagin...

Any help is appreciated!

Cheers,

Could you please specify if you are opening source stack in HF directly or importing from LR?
Looks like you may be importing the stack, in this case LR creates temporary source files in Temp folder, and they are deleted after export is completed, i.e. after closing HF. So in this case HF will not be able to find source images in the same location they used you be at the moment of saving the project.
The bottom line is, that's only direct opening of source files that works for the project.
