RTX 3080/3090/3080ti support?

Has anyone tested if the new 30XX series are compatible for OpenCl rendering? There are no benchmarks available, yet, but I assume it should have no issues..?

It definitely will be supported, and almost certainly it won't just work right away - we'll have to buy the card and make the necessary adjustments. We're looking into it right now. But it will be nice if someone who has one of the new cards actually confirms whether or not it works with Helicon Focus right now. Perhaps, Nvidia opted for extended compatibility with the previous generation and it works already.

Hi Catherine, I have just bought RTX3080, plugged into 10core/20thread i9 PC and run test. Benchmark was only 531MPix???
I am connecting to PC via RemoteDesktop. Is there a performance degradation with RemoteDesktop? Robert

Hi Robert, there could some performance lost due to remote desktop, especially if it's using hardware acceleration for encoding the video stream. One thing you could do about it is launch the benchmark and disconnect immediately, then reconnect a minute later to check the result. Also, the first run of the benchmark is often slower than the subsequent ones.
Are you using the latest version of Helicon Focus, 7.6.4?
