Reusing a saved project file

I'd like to go back to retouching with the original tif files. I don't understand the basic workflow.

I know use save project file. When I go to open that I see three tif files. I open all of them.

Then what? How do I use the original focus-stacked files to do further retouching?

In my current project, I've got 196 images saved as tif files.

You should open the .hproj file using menu - File - Load project file.

Thanks, Catherine. I hadn't known of the existence of the .hproj file. It worked fine.
