Hi.
Minolta (now Sony) manefactures the fantastic 135mm STF lense that gives you the BEST bokeh from any lense (See "http://www.dyxum.com/lenses/Sony-135-F2.8-[T4.5\]-STF_lens308.html"). The innovative Minolta 7 film-camra had a mode to simulate this lens by taking 7 exposures in one frame and adjusting the focus slightly to give a nice soft background blur (see http://www.dyxum.com/dforum/poor-mans-s ... page1.html.
My question is then, could you use HF to get this effect, and if not would it be possible to get such functionality in Helicon Focus? I guess that would almost be the opposite of the "normal" usage, to get a large DOF, but much of the same of the internals would be the same to make a narrow DOF mode with smooth bokeh?
Regards
Trond

Trond,
If you send some sample stack to our server (as described at http://www.heliconsoft.com/ftp.html) I will expriment. I would prefer to get the same effect based on one or two images.
