Retouching brush is choppy??

Post by tsinsf »

I use Helicon Focus 4.2.2X64 with a Mac Pro 2x2.66 GHz, 15 GB ram, OS 10.6.4. When doing retouching I find that the movement of the brush is very choppy and it is difficult to do fine work. Is there a work around this, or it is a limitation of the software at this time?

Also, a suggestion for updates. When in retouching mode and Saving, I like to include the sequence of the file names in my saved title, and this is not visible. I have to go to my image browser (Bridge) to find the names. It would be nice to be able to do this in one step: either include the file names automatically when saving, or at least have the file names visible when saving.

Thanks...great product!!

Thanks for the feedback. Is there any difference in brush speed if you run Helicon Focus in 32 and 64 bit mode? The speed should depend only on image resolution. How big are the images you process? Names: please give me an example.
