Internal Error

Post by GA_FLG »

Hello,

I have a user who receives this error on startup:
Internal error! Access violation at address 0018Fs44. Read of address 3524FD54

The program will appear to start up after that, but nothing is able to be clicked.
It all appears greyed out and unresponsive.

Using an admin account I was able to run the program properly, but it doesn't solve the issue for the user.

Looking forward to your response,
G. A.

We will send the link to test version to your email to locate the problem. I would appreciate if you help us with the testing as we cannot reproduce this bug in our environment.

Sorry for the late response, I was out for a week.
The issue was actually solved by another tech here.

Removed all traces of Helicon Software installed under user [my admin account] and reinstalled using [general admin] account. User was able to then run software.

Delete:
"C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Helicon\Focus\5\"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Helicon\"
