ordering a split stack in version 6

Post by jimshirey »

sometimes i run a stack where the file numbering is reset in the middle of the run when i hit 9999. for example, i could have a stack beginning at 9900 and ending at 0100. in version 5 this was no problem. i could load the first half of the stack and then load in the second half. however, version 6 places them in the wrong order, with the 0001 at the beginning and the 9999 at the end. is there a way to fix this without renaming the files?

There is no way to avoid renaming. We can sort by name or by date. Date seemed to be more reliable way till your message.

ordering by date/time would be ideal. that would solve the problem. but HF6 does not provide this option. our only choice is ascending or descending filename.
