FB Tube set-up No success

Having followed the sound set-up instructions in FAQ on my iPhone and iPad - the app on both iPhone & iPad will proceed no further than "Set sound volume to maximum...etc". I am at a total loss of what else to do. Using Nikon D500 & Sigma 150mm lens.
