Canon 5D iv with remote - Sigma 105 DG macro NOOP

I have watched the video several times.

I can auto focus to get starting point.

Then when I try to use the arrows to move focus, nothing happens.

OK... I put on my only canon lens 24-105 L and it will focus step. The sigma just does not do this.

That can be about servo / continuous AF. Must be single shot AF.
