Tokina lens compatibility

I have a Tokina 100 F2.8 D ATX Pro macro lens which does not have an built in motor. I have it paired with a Nikon D5300 which also does not have a lens focusing motor built in. Will Helicon Remote still work with this setup or will I need a different lens/body that has a built in focusing motor?

Helicon Remote will work with this camera body, it can control it, but it will not be able to move lens focus, since the lens has no built-in motor.
