Canon T7I and Samsung s7

When I connect my T7I to my Samsung s7 using the camera wifi, it connects, the shutter opens, and wifi disconnects. Am I missing changing a setting?

This behavior and problem are not typical, not something we heard of before or encountered ourselves.

Could you by any chance try it on a different camera body to see if the problem persists?
Or could you try a different device?

This behavior happened on my android Oppo phone too. I just give up after.
