live view disabled on Canon 5dIV

I just hooked up my Canon 5D to Helicon Remote. The program recognizes the camera but the computer screen says that Live view is off even though it is on. The toggle live view icon is grayed out as well. This problem has rendered the software useless. Any ideas of what might be going on? I'm using a macbook running osx 10.14.6 and helicon remote 3.9.10.

Please update your Helicon Remote to the latest 3.9.11 (https://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads/HeliconRemote.dmg), and if the problem persists - which is likely - please send a bug report while the camera is plugged in and the program is in this state (menu - Help - Report a bug).
