Connection to Helicon Remote

Hi,
I have the Canon 50 D and the TP Link 3040.
Can I connect to Helicon Remote?
Have tried a lot, unfortunately it never worked.
I have a HUAWEI P30 as a cell phone.
Can someone please help me fix the problem?

Have you installed the special firmware for camera remote control to your TP-Link?

Yes I have.

Then, unfortunately, we cannot help - this is not a configuration we support. It could have worked potentially, depending on what exactly the firmware does, but apparently it doesn't do the right thing to be compatible with arbitrary remote control software (like our Helicon Remote).
