Re: Remote and Nikon D3
Thanks for report! So, setting PTP mode is essential to make it work?
We are going to publish this new 2.0.15 version today, several beta testers reported that problems with D7000 had gone too.

Hi Stas,
yes,
you have to go in PTP mode. The other mode is MSC and used for mass storage.

Thanks!
Re: Remote and Nikon D3
I have a Nikon D3, a 60 mm Nikkor AF Micro lens, and am having nothing but problems getting the Remote program to step through from the nearest selected focus point to the farthest selected focus point. From both the resulting images and by watching the lens during the stepping, it is clear that the lens is not being stepped through a continuous series of different focus points. It jumps around, repeats points, and generally doesn't behave well. I am using the autoBad Remote, Bad Remote.
The lens is on AF, the camera is set to single servo AF ("S").

Re: Remote and Nikon D3
With these settings, I was not able to get Remote to automatically step from the near to far, selected focus points. Like so many other users have experienced, it did a few focus steps correctly and then just took the rest of the pictures without changing the focus point. This program (Mac version) is just too buggy for me to consider buying.
