As far as we know, Nikon has not yet published SDK with support of D5100. We are working on new version which works directly with the camera. I think we will be able to send you a test version the next week.

I have just downloaded the trial version of Helicon Focus and the 2.2.2.m Beta of Helicon Remote.
While the Helicon Focus works great the Helicon Remote will not recognize my Nikon D5100.

Could you please email me the newer test version to try?

Just downloaded the trial and google led me to this as I have the same problem with D5100 not being recognised. When is an update likely to be released?

Mac version is quite stable with our test cameras and I hope to send it to beta testers in a week or so. Please contact us at support@heliconsoft.com if you want to to test it before release.

We don't use Nikon SDK. You can download it from Nikon site after free registration.
