Nikon D3200

Post by kbtd3200 »

Are there any plans to support the Nikon D3200? I searched the forum beforehand and could not find this question.

Regards,

Not unless Nikon updates firmware to provide remote control over necessary features.

We're not sure. The few bug reports we've got D3200 show that it behaves the same as D3000 and D3100 in that it doesn't let us activate live view. Which software allows viewing live view picture over wi-fi? And do you mean Nikon WT wireless transmitter by saying "wi-fi"?

We'll add support for Nikon WT soon, perhaps it will work with D3200 as well. We'll see.

We haven't released a version with wi-fi support yet. It's most likely that it won't work with D3000 cameras, though.

None so far. A new version with wi-fi support will be released as soon as we'll finish writing a manual for the new functions, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it working with D3xx cameras.

It's not a bug. D3200 does not fully support the PTP remote control protocol. It will never be supported by Helicon Remote.
