Solution to small bug with Android/Canon 1DX

Post by BrianS » 21.07.2013 07:53

Was shooting on-site the other day with my Samsung Tab2 10.1 and my Canon 1DX.

Discovered that whilst I had set up nearest and farthest points, all shots were at the same focus - i.e. the nearest.
Once I turned off "Live View while shooting" problem was fixed. I normally shoot that way, but had recently reloaded HR and thus the defaults went back to standard.
Otherwise HR works great with the 1DX

No idea what happened. We're releasing a new version soon (this week), it would be nice if you could check if the problem is still present there.

Hi
i can see the same Problem.
The command for change the Focus is lost between Helicon Remote and the Camera. But only for the time that the Camera displays the shooted Image (review).

Solution:
Change in the 3. shoot Menu the IMAGE REVIEW to OFF.

Then it works fine. :D
Have a good time.....
