Nikon D7100 behavior with HR 3.2.0, Live View , Au

Post by clav0 »

Hi,
I can submit this PB because I can not find a solution.

Problem Description:
- Nikon D7100 connection with a USB cable. OK
- After activating the Live View, the image appears correctly on the screen. OK
- If I click on a part of the image to zoom (hand+), I get a zoom of the image but not on the part of the requested image. Right click and move the cursor brings up a random left or right image but give an incorrect picture. Not OK
- The Autofocus does not work on the part of the image where I ask Focus. Not OK

I have this behavior with the D7100 and H R 3.2.0 on Windows 8, Windows 7 and Android (Windows 8 on a laptop Lenovo Yoga 13, Windows 7 on a PC desktop and Android on a tablet Acer Iconia A1).
Before I have this behavior with H R 3.1.2 W and I hoped that H R 3.2.0 would correct this problem.

I also have a Nikon D5000. With the D5000 I do not have this problem. LiveView and Autofocus work perfectly. A friend came to me with a Nikon D5100, With D5100 everything is OK.

I thought the case of D7100 had a bad configuration; I studied the brochure D7100 and force to AF- S. I tried all the other settings as possible! I may be wrong about the configuration?

I tried competitor H R software. Not designate (sorry) " ControlMyNikon 4.3 " With this software, the D7100 does not have this problem, I can zoom in LiveView and autofocus works well.

Can you tell me if my problem has a solution? (Configuration of the case or otherwise and if I have made a mistake)

Thank you in advance for your response.

It is probably caused by some change in D7100 behavior compared to D7000 / D5100. The problem is, we've studied the documentation for D7100 and couldn't find any difference. And we don't have a D7100 to experiment with. So, it's most likely an error in the program that we have to fix on our end, but it will take some time.

Hi,
I confirm that the autofocus and Live-View With Nikon D7100 works perfectly with H R 3.2.3 in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Android.
Thank you for the correction and congratulations for your response time.
All the best
