Hi Bob, the beta version of Helicon Remote support A7 (R) III, and we will most likely support A7 (R) IV later, but A7 II definitely will not be supported, sorry. It simply doesn't have the necessary remote control capabilities.

Dear Catherine,
Would you be able to give any help regarding availability of ‘Helicon Remote’ and a Sony A7rIV version please?
Forum posts suggest it will become available at some stage, I’d appreciate any estimated timeline, also is there a notification system such as a newsletter?
Many thanks in advance

I've just bought a AR7iv so I'd also be interested to know when support for this camera will be available. Soon I hope.

Looks a little bit strange that this takes years!
Is there really nearly another years time gone and still those one is not supported?! :x

Believe me, we want to support it at least it as much as you do, and we're working on it right now. Since there is no documentation available from Sony, everything has to be deciphered and reverse-engineered by hand.

Hi Catherine,

I'm getting great results using the powerful Helicon Focus software to process images from my Sony A7RiV.

Any update as to when the Helicon Remote software will be able to support the Sony A7Riv?
Anxiously waiting for that compatibility. Even a rough estimate would be helpful

Can you let us know an approximate timeline as to when we can expect it to work with Sony A7Riv?
Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Doug
